Job Description
Exports Marketing
• Business development activities like participating in overseas exhibitions, follow up on inquiries, searching for prospective clients on net & sending introduction mailers, follow through to convert them into customers & relationship management.
• Handling RFQ’s for Auto Components.
• Costing for decision making & making quotations for OEM’s & Export customers.
• Active role in execution of the Master Development Schedule.
• Sample Submission along with PPAP Documents.
• Interaction with Overseas Customers through teleconferencing and periodic visits in order to support them for their existing programs as well as to develop new businesses.
• Payment Realization for Exports.
Export Sales
• Handling Customer Schedules & ensuring on time dispatches.
• Preparing and Executing Sales & Distribution Plan.
• Prompt response to the customer feed back & complaints.
• Visits at the customer end to provide better services.
• Debtors Management.
Logistics
• Managing the logistic functions and negotiating with shippers/transporters for cost effective transport solution and clearances.
• Implementing sales & distribution plans to match with the customer need.
• Handling Transporters ensuring on time delivery and monitoring transit norms.
• Monitoring and analyzing the loss in transit and undertaking measures to control the same.
• Maintain packing standard as per Customer specification.
• Interface with CHA’s & Shipping lines in order to meet the requirements of Overseas Customers.
Exports Procedures and Documentations
• Managing Pre and Post shipment documents for Exports.
• Obtaining Bank Realization certificate from Bank after payment realization from Overseas Customers.
• Obtaining Exports Incentives like DEPB & EPCG licenses.
• Fulfillment of Exports Obligation and obtaining an Export Obligation Discharge Certificate “EODC”.
Desired Candidate Profile
Prior experience in export department of Auto Ancillary units manufacturing under the bonnet vehicle parts or other critical automotive, locomotive or off road vehicle parts . Prior experience in the same field of Radiators & heat Exchanger marketing preferred.
Candidates must have adequate skills to independently handle majority of the duties described in the Job Description Section of this Ad.
